ABOUT

Shitu is a designer, design thinker & lifestyle/luxury specialist with a passion and enterprise for building brands. In her 20+ years of diverse design & communication experience she has led teams, created award winning work and helped build & grow major brands for India’s leading design & advertising agencies including her own.

She has been in impactful leadership roles including National Creative Director at Publicis India & Head Of Art at L&K Saatchi & Saatchi where she led the creative & art department respectively. She has also been a successful entrepreneur, where she ran the branding & creative agency ‘Plus One Design’ which she co-founded 13 years back.

A design purist at heart, her expertise lies in breaking through clutter to reach the root problem and provide engaging aesthetic solutions with her visual craft. As a mother of twin boys, creator and a wanderer at heart, she wears many hats. Her positive outlook and childlike awe towards life always see her seeking knowledge and drawing references from a diverse range of cultural, aesthetic, social and historical sources. Indian and international awards like D&AD, Effies, Abbys, Kyoorius etc. are an inevitable side effect of the work she does.
